URGENT - REGISTER ONLINE IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE before Feb 28, 2012

URGENT CALL FOR ACTION:
If you are a "current" (membership fees paid at least up to 2012, you need to pay for 2013 now if not done) Fellow, Member, Associate Member, Associate, Companion, Affiliate, or Student, you MUST register online without any further delay. The online registration process has been active since September 2012 and more than 2000 have already registered. You can access the registration link from any Internet connected computer (from an internet cafe, need not be yours) at:
1. If you have already registered, the system WILL NOT accept your membership number again assuming you filled the rest of the mandatory data accurately.
2. Accuracy and the format of your membership number, full address, email - please give your personal email and NOT your office email - and mobile phone number is of utmost importance.
3. If you have any issues when registering please email ieslitadmin@iesl.lk.

WHY THIS IS CRITICAL FOR YOU:
Feb 1st, 2013, The Council approved the implementation and overhaul of our membership management system that is far behind our times and needs. A brand new, world class NEW SYSTEM that is being implemented now will go live soon!! It is web based ( you can access from anywhere, any time, securely) will have the following key features to make your experience with IESL more enriching. You will have PASSWORD PROTECTED access to ONLINE:
1. Update of your profile any time data changes, no need to depend on the secretariat
2. Payment of membership fees online (not just credit card but also through bank transfers and checks, money orders)
3. Request for services and Payment for the same (CEng seal, etc.) and the ability to track the delivery online
4. Setup various alerts via emails (reminders on membership dues, events, etc.)
5. Query a member directory
6. Access and registration to various professional consulting databases to which you can enroll
7. Access to collaborative knowledge sharing tools - blogs, forums, video and audio lectures, etc
8. Membership application process with tracking of status for new candidates as well as transferring members
9. Access to online SLEN (news letter)
10. Place to maintain your provincial and chapter news, office bearers, etc without depending on the secretariat or head office IT

Unlike today, when we go live with the new system......

you will not be part of this system and its benefits as we are unable to contact you give your "username" and "password"!!. We plan to use your latest data to populate the new system. CONSIDER THIS AS CRITICAL EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE your past data is accurate. PLEASE REGISTER-ONLINE TO AVOID SURPRISES TO ALL AND WE GREATLY APPRECIATE THE 5-10 minutes you will spend doing this activity.
